Shopping Our Stash #120

Hello cyber friends!  Thanks for stopping by today.  It's time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash.  This week we want to see you make something for a child.  Easy right?
First off, I used a super cute image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I love her images and boy does she have some cute new ones in the store!  This one, Chocolate Smile is actually from my "stash".  I've had it for a while and decided it was time to use it again!  I colored this cutie with my Prismacolor pencils.
I used this chocolate chip paper that has been in my stash for too long!  I made a sleeve for a candy bar!
There's a piece of card stock inside and the ribbons (also from my stash) go through some holes in the sleeve, loop around the bottom of the card stock and are knotted at the top.
I put the image on a small card so a sentiment can be written for the child.
Here you can see how it all looks together.

Now it's your turn!  Grab something from you stash (and tell us what it is) and join us!  Kids love receiving something made just for them!

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle

Shopping Our Stash #119

Hello friends and Happy Tuesday!!  It's time for another stash-busting challenge at Shopping Our Stash!  This week we want you to pull out your oldest flowers to add to your card creation.  I immediately knew which ones I would grab...
First off, I used this adorable image from Wee Stamps.  She is called Wee Florist and can be found in Sylvia's store.  Her images are so sweet and I always love coloring them with my Prismacolor pencils.
I used paper from Lost and Found 2 by MME.  I love their paper and the floral one here is probably one of my favorites.  I inked and sewed all the edges.  The pearl flourish gave me a bit of trouble....it stuck to me, the table, itself....hence its ragged appearance!  The seam binding and lace are from my stash.  The flowers are "silk" ribbon roses from 20+ years ago.  And they are far from silk.  I used to use so many of these in my craft show days.  I still have one small bag of them.  I used 12 of them on this card!!
The inside shows off that great paper again!
There you have.  That was pretty painless!  Now it's your turn.  Dig into your stash and join us this week!  And make sure you tell us what you used from your stash!!

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle

Shopping Our Stash #117

Hello, friends!  It's time for another great challenge at Shopping Our Stash.  Our theme this week is School or Office/Workplace.  Please use something that depicts school or a workplace/office theme - careers, office humor, or use a school or office supply on your card - paperclips, staples, sticky notes, a ruler sticker, etc.  I stretched this a bit, I made some bookmarks (students need those, right?) and added staples.

I think I love all the images Bea has over on her etsy shop.  These images come from the Sewing 01 collection.  I mounted them on kraft card stock and used lace and ribbon from my stash.  I stapled the ribbon to the top of each bookmark.
I think these will make sweet little gifts for some of my sewing friends!

This one was short and simple for me.  I hope you like them.  Please dip into your stash of office/school supplies and join us this week won't you?

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle
