Tamborine Girl

Happy Day to you!  The little girl on my card is having a happy day and I hope you are too!

My image is from Mo's and she is called Georgia.  She is having such a good time!  I love this little girl!
I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils.  I used a slightly darker pencil on her skin to make her look a little more like she might come from Brazil.  (My daughter and I went there on a missions trip last year and the children in the jungle were BEAUTIFUL!)  I picked my colors from my DP which came from my stash.  (Why does it seem like my paper is multiplying even though I'm not buying any?)
Here's my card.  It is very bright and cheerful!  It is so much fun to look at!  The challenge at Mo's this week is spots.  So I used spotted paper and my swiss dot embossing folder.
My flowers came from Wild Orchid.  I added some Stickles to all of them.  The beads are from my stash.  I picked all the colors from the DP.
The bright colors continue in the inside.  You can see the DP a little better here.  I had a paisley stamp that picks up the paisley in the paper.  The sentiment was in the same set, as was the paisley border I used behind the sentiment.
I used the same sketch on the back.  I think you can see the red paper is embossed with a paisley embossing folder.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Paper Sundaes - Anything Goes
CPS - Sketch

I guess that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs

Michelle

  2. Ssssh don't tell, but it's the paper fairies that come in at night and multiply the sheets. I have the same problem. LOL You've done such a lovely job with Georgia Michelle. She's so much fun to color and you've used all those great bright fun colors. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Mo's!
