Shopping Our Stash #78

Hello dear friends.  It's Tuesday so that means another great stash busting challenge at Shopping Our Stash.

This week we are "Leafing It Up To You."  We would like to see leaves of some kind on your project this week.  When I first started thinking about this challenge I naturally starting thinking autumnal.  But, I am already thinking Christmas and the two notions were not blending in my head.  As I was looking at my stash I looked at my flowers and saw some pine cones I bought at Joanns (on sale of course).  Now, I live in Central New York.  We have lots of pine trees.  I have 4 right next to the barn.  Pine trees have needles.  Not leaves.  Right??  Well, whoever made this cute pick of glitter-enhanced pine cones didn't know that.  They embellished it with very lovely, glittery.....holly leaves....?!?  Works for me!!  lol
Can you see the glitter on my pine cones??  Love them!  And those shiny leaves behind the bow??  From the same little pick.  Ah well.  I'm guessing they don't have pine trees in Asia.  I CASE'd a card (a very lovely puts-mine-to-shame card) from Amy Sheffer.  You can see her beauty here.  I used a MS border punch.  There's some lace from my stash (it's at least 15 years in that stash!) and some new pearls.  I sewed all the layers.
I die cut this great St. Nick from a DP from Hobby Lobby.  My bow is seam binding.
The inside shows off another portion of the DP.

Now make sure you check out every one's blog from the DT, then break out your stash and join us this week!

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle
