Hello again my blogging friends! Thanks for stopping by today. It means alot to me that you are here. Today I have a card for the challenge over at Saturated Canary. They want to see doilies on our cards this week. I have one on there. It's just hiding most of its self. But if you look close you can see part of it :) I used Krista's image called Wildflower Fairy. She is so cute and I love the way she turned out.
I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils. I really like using them. I take forever coloring an image lately. I keep going back and adding a little here, a little there.
I followed the sketch from Papertake Weekly. I rotated it and made the "text" spot a tag which is part of the challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room. The ladies over there want to see pink, aqua and green along with a tag. My tag helped me alot because I really wanted to enter the challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog which is to use 2 ribbons (got it) and 9 or more words (for "29" - leap year).
This great paper has lots of words and the colors are great! I always have a hard time defining "aqua" so I used several different blue/greens hoping one of them comes close. My lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid of course.
The inside received alot of attention as usual. I feel like its disappointing to open a card that is so detailed on the outside only to find...nothing on the inside. So, my muse works on all 4 "sides" as I'm putting my card together. My sentiment is very general so this card could be for many different occasions.
I know, 2 pictures of the same panel, but I wanted to show that again I have put a small card to write on inside. I wanted to show off that great DP again and also my MS PATP looks like another doily.
I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Saturated Canary - doilies
City Crafter - 2 ribbons, 9 words
Papertake Weekly - Sketch
Top Tip Tuesday - Stitches
The Shabby Tea Room - Colorful Confections (pink, green, aqua and a tag)
I think that's about it. Thanks for taking a peek.
Blessings & Hugs
