Chocolate!

Happy Thursday dear friends.....Yes, it is still Thursday!  I am getting this card in before midnight!  Since it's Thursday that means it's time for another challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog.  I love using Mo's adorable images so I try to play along every week.

I have been busy organizing my stamping area and all my paper.  While I was sorting through my paper I came across a paper that had never really thrilled me (why was it in my stash?  well, you can't just throw it out, right??) but made me think of a sweet image from Mo.
This adorable image is called Chocolate Smile and honestly, with a chocolate bar that big what child isn't going to smile?  I know mine all would!  I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and matted the image three times.
Somehow these papers work for this image.  They have both been in my stash FOREVER!  I didn't have full sheets left but I had enough to make this card.  I sewed the smaller squares with actual denim top-stitching thread in a zig-zag stitch.  I added some ribbon, a buckle and some brads, all from my stash.
The sentiment says "chocolate is proof that God loves us".  I would have to agree!  The sentiment and chocolate chip stamps are from an old SU set.
The "denim" paper is actually embossed along the "seam" and feels like the seam on your jeans.  That's kind of cool.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Mo's Challenge Blog - Anything
Fairytale Challenge Blog - Sewing, real or drawn

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle
