Happy Hello!

Hello friends!  I have a sweet, fun card for you today!

I used a super cute new image from Tiddly Inks called Fairy Sunny Day.  I love all the images Christy makes.  They make me smile and they are so much fun to color!
Isn't she so sweet?  I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and added a tiny bit of purple stickles to her fairy wand.  I die cut the image with a circle die and inked the edges.
I followed the sketch at Mojo Monday.  It seemed to work perfect for this image.  The paper is from my stash as are the flower beads on the twine.  The trim I used I picked up at Hobby Lobby a while back.  I think it's meant for apparel as it it actually stretchy.  I love the sequins on it and snatched it up for my cards.  The flowers are all from Wild Orchid and the pearls and rhinestones are all from AC Moore.
I used the same sketch for the writing panel and left the other side "blank" to show off the fun paper.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

For You From Me

Hello friends.  Told you I was getting back in the groove.  I have a card I made today, just for fun!

I love the images at Tiddly Inks.  They have a challenge right now to Distress, Emboss or Stitch and since I always stitch my cards this was not a problem!
I used the very cute Wryn - Spring Bling.  I colored her on Kraft with my Prismacolor pencils.  I always forget how much I love the look of coloring on kraft until I do it again.  I need to get in the habit of using it more.
I used some yummy papers from Basic Grey called Lemonade.   The scallop border was a die from Die-namics.  The seam binding and flowers are from Wild Orchid.  The pearls are stash and the tiny cross charm (under the bow) I "borrowed" from my daughter.  She has some fun stash that she decided should live in my studio so I frequently help myself  ;)
I have almost used up this paper pad!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Distress, Emboss or Stitch
Papertake - Anything
City Crafter - Circle Die, Embossing or pearls
Cute Card Thursday - Something Borrowed
Sketchy Fridays - Sketch
Ribbon Carousel - Showers and Flowers
Top Tip Tuesday - Boy and/or Girl
Divas by Design - Spring Colors

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Always Be Mine

Happy Friday!  I have a card I made just for fun today.  I love the images over at Tiddly Inks and can't get enough of them!

The challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog is Valentine, so I chose the image Be Mine.
Isn't this image sweet?  I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and matted it twice.
I used some DP from Kaiser Kraft.  I didn't pick out the paper first and was very surprised when I found something that matched so nicely.  I used some raffia in a beautiful rose shade for my bow.  The doily, flower and charm were from my stash.  I bought the by-the-yard pearls at Joanns.
Both of these DP are from the same stack.  I made the sentiment on my computer.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Digi Tuesdsay - Hearts
Top Tip Tuesday - Let Me Call You Sweetheart
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Sent With Love
Ribbon Carousel - Love is in the Air
Cute Card Thursday - Love Struck

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Make a Wish

Good morning!  I hope the sun is shining where you are!

Today I have a card using a sweet image from Tiddly Inks.
I used the very sweet Lilli Claire Makes a Wish.  I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils
I love this paper from MME called Penny Lane.  It's so fresh and fun.  And sparkly!!  The pearls and brads are from my stash, as are the silk flowers.  I wanted something spiky coming out from the image and this grass was just right.  I decided to group a bunch of pearls in the corners for something different this time.
Here's the inside.  I made the sentiment on my computer.

I am entering my card in the challenge at:
Tiddly Inks - Things with Wings

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Snowbuddy Loves You Like I Do

Happy Sunday to you all.  I hope you are blessed where ever you are.

Today I have a project I created just for fun.  I love the images by Christy Croll from Tiddly Inks but I haven't used one in a few months.  I really missed them and joining in the challenges over there so I'm hoping to jump back into the game.
This time I chose a super cute new image called Winter Wryn.  I love Wryn's skinny, skinny arms and legs.  She is so cute.  I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and added tinsel glitter to the fur on her hat and dress.
I decided to make something besides a card.  I filled a small canning jar with M&M's (my favorite) and "built" a holder around it.  The very glittery polka dot paper is from MME (LOVE their paper!).  I added some white tulle (from my sewing stash) behind the image and some pearls in the corners.
The top of the holder comes together and wraps over itself.  I punched an oval in the top and added 2 (very, very old) brads to keep it closed.
I used the sentiment that came with Wryn on the inside.  This would even be great for Valentine's Day if I changed out the colors....

I am entering my box in the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Anything Goes
Cupcake Challenge Blog - Anything But a Card
Papertake Weekly - Baby It's Cold Outside
City Crafter - Winter Blues (hence my color scheme!!)

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle
