Giving Thanks for You

Happy Saturday to you all!  Autumn is on its way but you can't tell here.  The weather has been gorgeous and I love it!  I do also love fall though.  The crisp air, crunchy leaves, pumpkins.  All of it.  So today I have an autumnal card for you.  I chose an image from Daydream Designs called Bushel and a Peck.  There are several images in this set and I chose the one with the leaves.
I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils on kraft.
The leaf DP is ancient!  I have no idea how long it has been in my stash.  The torn strips were scraps in my stash.  I stitched the edges with a heavy thread.  I used pearl cotton to add some beads from my stash.  There are 2 green leaves and an orange tube.  They matched perfectly.
I made the sentiment on my computer and followed the front sketch for the writing panel.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Autumn Gold
My Heart Pieces - Layers
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes
Shelly's Images -Anything Goes
Inspired By - Photo Inspiration

I think that's about it.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle

  6. Michelle...finally, I'm back on line and slowly making my way around to see everyone and catch up. This is beautiful! Amazing coloring as always...that basket looks exactly like one of those old wooden ones. So colorful and warm. Love it.
