Blue & Silver Christmas Fairy

Howdy folks!!  It's Thursday, so that means it's time for me to play along with the challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog.

This week they want to see anything but a square card.  I wanted to be brilliant and clever, but all I could come up with is round...at least it's not square!!  lol

I used the very cute Winter Fairy Talva.  I have used her before and still think she is so sweet!  I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and added bling, bling and more bling!!  I used extra fine glitter on the snowball, tinsel glitter on her leg warmers, pompoms and hat, stickles on her skirt, crackle accents on the ice on her wings, silver lined beads on her skirt and rhinestones on the snowflakes I punched from acetate and colored with a blue stamp pad.

The lace is from my stash.  I sewed it on and the piece I had was the exact size I needed!!  Love when that happens, and one more piece gone from my stash!!  The blue behind the lace is actually bias tape from my amazing find a couple weeks ago.  The paper is from Basic Gray, I love the cool wintry feel of the colors.  The white pompom trim looks like little snowballs I think (although my oldest said they look like bunny butts.....you decide).

The paper on the left is the back of the snowflake paper.  The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo.  I kept the writing panel small so you could still see the snowflakes.
