What a Deal!!

Hello friends!  I don't have a card for you today, but I have some fun stuff to show you!  Last Friday, my children and I went on an annual "Shop Hop" in our area.  We have participated for the last 4 years I believe.  My youngest son loves it for the refreshments at every stop  ;)  The girls and I love to get a jump on our Christmas shopping.  Our first stop was a great co-op that I simply love!  There are 3 floors I could get lost in for hours.  On the third floor was a booth that looked like someone cleaned out her entire sewing/craft room.....WOW!  There was so much to look at!  After poking around for a while I happened upon a box with packages of vintage seam binding.  The seller had 10 packages for $2.  Each package was 3 yards!  She put assorted colors in each bundle.  I bought 3 of her bundles.  That's 90 yards for $6!!  How crazy is that!
Some of them are iron on (never saw that before), but the rest are regular seam binding.  In great "vintage-y" colors!
At the antique shop next door I found this beautiful piece of crochet trim.  It's about a yard long and it was $2!  I had to bring it home!

From there we ended up at my LCS.  Its an independent store and she has made some changes in the last few years.  She has added formal gowns and tuxedo rentals to the shop.  The craft section has down-sized some.  I never realized the selection of ribbon she had until she rearranged.
I bought these great ribbons and those cute red and gold, very sparkly, stars!  There's also some pink flowers, though the are hard to see in the pic.  See that roll of white stuff in the lower right?
It's this stuff!  I don't know what it is, but when I picked it up I realized that if I pulled it apart it opened up wide and stayed that way!!!  Glory be!!  I had to bring some home to play with!  It will be appearing on a card soon I am sure!!  If I figure out what it is called I'll let you know!

Well, that's about it.  I also bought some Christmas presents, but I don't want to take the chance of anyone seeing them on here  ;)

Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessings & Hugs,

Michelle
